The Triceratops Didn’t Actually Exist!

Ok, so not only was there no Brontosaurus, we are just now learning that there was no Triceratops either!! So much for half the dinosaur toys out there, they are all lies, lies, lies!!

Don't look at me! I'm not real!

The dinosaur DID exist, don’t get me wrong, but there is no such thing as a Triceratops. What we know as the Triceratops is actually a young Torosaurus… who’s ever heard of that one before? The information comes from NewScientist.com so it must be true, right?

Here is what NewScientist.com had to say:

The duo say there is a clear transition from triceratops into torosaurus as the animals grow older. For example, the oldest specimens of triceratops show a marked thinning of the bone where torosaurus has holes, suggesting they are in the process of becoming fenestrated.

Anyway the cookie crumbles, I’m still calling it a Triceratops. And the Earth is still flat too.
