As of Sept. 1st 2012 we are no longer providing digital camera repair service.

Darntoothysam.com is no longer taking customer cameras for repair. After 6 years of operating this repair business full-time, I have found that most people DO NOT WANT an affordable repair service for their camera and I have moved on to other opportunities. Take a look around, if you can actually find a camera repair shop the minimum they will charge you for labor is $100 and they will tell you that you are getting a deal!! I hate being ripped off like that, so I didn’t do that to my customers.

I tried to charge reasonable prices for our services; no charge for estimates, only $30-40 for installation, shipping at COST plus $1… but unfortunately that meant that I couldn’t hire the help I needed with emails, the phone etc. and this made many customers upset. People would rather pay $200 for a $75 repair just so they can talk to somebody in Mexico on the phone about their camera… well sorry, I’m not going to do that so therefore I am no longer going to provide repair service.

WE ARE STILL IN BUSINESS, but we only sell repair parts for cameras. We are not running this business full-time like we have done since 2006, but we will process your order, ship it and email you the shipping info right away.

I will not be available via phone as I previously was, but I will try and answer email daily.

Any customer cameras we have here for repair will be completed and shipped back to the customer, but no cameras will be accepted for repair from this time forward.
