If you want to do the repair yourself, here are a couple pictures to help you figure out why you can't get the back half of the body of the camera off! There are a couple screws hiden UNDER the microphone cover! Take out the two small screws under the flash in the front of the microphone cover (picture 1) and then pry up the cover by putting something small into one of the holes and lifting it up. 1. Wish I had better directions, but was a good fix

The pictures help on the site, but you have to take the back of the camera off to get to the screw holding the shutter assembly in place. Other than that it's a piece of cake. remove 10 or so screws, slide the back off, pop up the shutter assembly and place new on in place.
