Sony charges $175 for this repair, and all they do is put back in the same exact part that already broke!

We give a 120 day warranty on all parts and repair services. This warranty is limited to parts and labor only; the buyer is responsible for shipping the camera or part to us in case of a warranty claim. No warranty requests will be honored for cameras or parts with impact damage, water exposure, or other signs of obvious abuse or neglect.

    I sent my DSC H7 Sony camera to DarnToothySam in Minnesota to purchase and replace my shutter release button in late December 2010, expecting to get it back after the first of the year, if ever.... It was repaired at a very reasonable price and returned before Christmas.
    Excellent service at a very low price, much more than "Better than Expected". EXCELLENT service.
